Why convert AVIF to PNG?
AVIF is a modern, space-efficient format — but plenty of software still can't open it: older Windows photo viewers, legacy editors, government and school upload portals, and many forums reject AVIF files. Converting to PNG makes the image open virtually everywhere.

What happens to quality and size?
