About EazyImage

Why we built it

Uploading personal images — family photos, ID pictures, scanned documents — to an unknown website just to change their format is more common than it should be. Most online converters send your photo to their servers, and you never know where it is stored or when it is deleted. Free tiers often pile on size caps, daily limits and long queues.

EazyImage takes the opposite approach. Instead of sending your photo to a server, it brings the processing engine to your browser. Your photo exists only on your device from start to finish — we never receive, see, or store it. And with no upload, there are no size limits and no queues.

The technology

JPG, PNG and WebP are handled by the image engine built into every browser (the Canvas API), so those conversions start instantly with nothing to download. iPhone HEIC photos are decoded by a WebAssembly build of the open-source libheif engine, running inside your browser.

Everything is built on proven open source; the libraries and licenses are credited in each tool's footer.

How is it free?

Because no photos are processed on servers, running costs stay very low, and the site is supported by the ads on its pages. That is why there is no sign-up, no payment, no usage limit and no watermark.

Who runs it?

EazyImage is built and run by an independent developer in South Korea — the third service from the team behind the PDF toolset EazyTools and the audio toolset EazyAudio. Bug reports and feature suggestions are always welcome.
